No reservations for the Other Backward Classes in the All India quota for admissions into the medical colleges!

At the same time reservations are made available to the economically backward forward castes including Brahmins!
The journey of the BJP-2 Government starts with Social Injustice.
Let us unite all fighters of social justice for a lasting solution against this injustice.
It was announced that there will be no reservations for the Other Backward Classes in the All India quota for admissions into the medical colleges. At the same time, the scheme of 10% reservations, for which the BJP Government passed an act in Parliament so hurriedly, to the economically weaker sections among Forward Classes including the Brahmins will be implemented. Even at the start of the journey of the BJP-2 Government, the policy of reservations to OBCs, SCs and STs is being buried deep in its coffin.
Editor of viduthalai and President of the Dravidar Kazhagam K.Veeramani has issued a statement today urging all those who stand for social justisce to unite and find a solution for this.
At the junior level, there are a total number of 216 medical colleges all over India. There are 30,455 seats in these colleges for MBBS. In Tamil Nadu alone there are 25 medical colleges, the largest in a state, having 3,250 seats. Out of this 3,250 seats 15% of seats will be allotted to the Central pool. Thus all the states in India give a total of 4,600 seats to the Central pool. Tamil Nadu alone gives 490 seats, more than any other state. Out of these 4,600 seats, the Central Government is allotting 22.5 % to the SC/STs. But the reservation quota for the OBCs is not allotted every year. The reason adduced for this is that these 4,600 seats do not belong to any single institution, but it is only a general pool.
The Modi Govt. is arguing in the Supreme Court that reservations for OBCs will not be made from this central pool. This is the cunningness of Brahmins to divide the OBCs from SCs/STs. The same Government has instructed the National Testing Agency and the Medical Council of India to implement this year itself the scheme of 10% reservations to the economically weaker sections among Forward Classes including the Brahmins from this general pool of 4,600 seats and thus ensured the reservation for Forward classes including the Brahmins. Instead of allotting 1,242 seats to the OBCs from this Central pool, the Govt. is indirectly giving these seats to the Brahmins.
The first prize the New India – BJP Government gave to the students of Tamil Nadu and students belonging to the OBCs throughout India is to spoil their aspirations and dreams to become medical practitioners.
The BJP has become a tent overcrowded with full of Brahmins. More number of Brahmins are dominating in the Central Government as MPs and Ministers.
The very word of Social Justice is anathema to the RSS and it is the policy of the BJP, its political wing. As the flag of more than 50% Brahmin Ministers fly high in the Central Government, surely they will try to burry deep the principle of Social Justice gradually and make it a mockery.
Only Tamil Nadu can guide to find a solution for this injustice. I would like to inform that the Dravidar Kazhagam will unite all the people who stand for Social Justice, seek their co-operation and find a proper solution for this problem.
